North Korean Human Rights Week: December 5 to 11 (help me cover it)

Seoul Summit: Promoting Human Rights in North Korea has declared December 5 to 11 North Korean Human Rights week.  Below are some events in which you can participate.

I will be covering some of those events while guest blogging at One Free Korea, which means the jeongja will be largely unmanned during that important time.  One thing I can do is click around and post links to others who are covering these events.

If you have a blog and plan to cover some of the events below, email me and I'll be sure to keep a look out for your posts.  When the Marmot gets back from China, I will talk with him about trying to coordinate some group blogging.  USAinKorea has set up a site and has asked for video of the events to be sent to him for upload.

There are some events being planned by other groups for the week.  I'll post on them as I find out about them.  I am hoping that enough bloggers can get involved that we can collectively cover everything.  Perhaps some of us with good Korean skills (such as the Marmot or Oranckay) can get in touch with some of our Korean blogging brothers and sisters.

I am open to suggestions.  Email me or leave a comment.

Sunsets From My Window

I lived in a twelfth-floor apartment in Ansan, Korea for about 18 months. As you can see, it offered some pretty good views in the evening. My wife and I often enjoyed the summer sunsets during dinner.
