There are municipal and provincial elections across Korea tomorrow.
Most of major elections (South Gyeongsang, Busan, Cheju) feature a Grand National Party (GNP) vs. Our Open Party (OOP) match-up in what seems to be a confirmation of Korea's new two-major-party system. The two local races that I'm aware of in Ansan also feature a GNP-OOP match-up. The only exception among major races is in South Cholla, were the GNP has no support. There, the OOP candidate is facing a challenge from the tattered remnants of the Millennium Democratic Party.
If you want to read more, you can check out this piece from the Korea Herald (from where I got that spiffy graphic on the right). The Korea Times also has several articles on the election.
I'll try to post on the results by Sunday afternoon.
